Design Loads
Dead Load: Self weight of slab Landing superimposed dead load = 30PSF (Topping & Finish).
Live 1000 PSF Reinforcement Steel:
- Deformed high strength billet steel; ASTM a615; Grade 60 KSL
- Reinforcing Steel shall be detailed, fabricated, placed and supported to conform with the ACI detailing manual: ACI SP-66
Concrete: Minimum compressive strength of 6000 psi at 28 days. All concrete materials, batching and workmanship shall conform to the following:
- ACI 301: Specifications for structural concrete buildings.
- ACI 318: Building code requirements for reinforced concrete.
- ASTM C94: Ready mix concrete
Concrete Cover to Reinforcing Steel: Concrete Coverage: Depending on application varies from 1" - 1 1/2"
Shop Drawings: All units shall show the following:
- Dimensions necessary for proper fabrication.
- Reinforcing steel, size, grades, locations
- Inserts, accessories and handling methods
- Calculations for reinforcing: Supple mentally supplied
